Add a new True/False question type where learners decide if statements are correct. It's a quick way to check understanding without complex multiple-choice options—sometimes simple right-or-wrong questions are the best way to reinforce learning. Programs and In-person views in Insights

Two new raw data views have been introduced to enable more in-depth analysis.

• The "Programs" view displays the most recent version of each programme, including courses, the order of course steps, and whether courses have absolute deadlines.
• The "In-person" view offers detailed information on live session performance and attendance trends. Ideal for teams needing comprehensive programme performance data.

The publish modal for self-paced courses features a cleaner look with a better information hierarchy and a more structured UI. Settings are now organized into clear sections: General, Attributes, More Options, and Share.

Accessibility updates

Image transparency/ overlay updates

Add transparency or overlays to background images on text cards, polls, and flip cards to make text easier to read. This improvement works across both self-paced courses and live sessions, helping creators ensure text remains visible while improving accessibility and overall course quality. Find these settings wherever you can add text over an image in the editor.

Subtitles for audio/ narrations

Narrations and audio files now include automatic transcription as part of our WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility efforts. Users can choose from available languages to ensure content is accessible to everyone.

Question generation

Question generation now works across all question types, including match-the-pair, True/False, pick-the-best-option, and all-that-apply. This ensures you can quickly create any type of assessment you need. Generated questions are based on previous context. The more context the question generator has, the sharper the questions, and the better the learning.

Anonymous drop a word submission

Drop-a-word cards now support anonymous submissions, enabled by default for new cards but toggleable during creation. This update gives learners more comfortable ways to participate.

User attributes on certificates

Any attribute available in the organization can now be added to certificates. Default attributes are pre-selected, so existing certificates will remain unchanged unless you customize them.

Improvements to the Content and Program tables in Manage

Program pages now include filtering for content attributes and categories. Content pages feature a new visibility column showing whether content is "visible everywhere" or "visible for admins" to help Partners manage access. Visibility is also added as a filter to the Content pages.

Copy/Pasting within assessments

We made improvements to the assessment creation process. You can now create assessments faster by copying and pasting questions and variations. Both of these work within an assessment card, as well as between cards, speeding up the process of creating assessments.

Image magnifying

Pictures in Sana courses can now be enlarged with a click, making detailed visuals easier to explore while preserving all existing functionality like hotspots and transparency.

True/false question type

We added a new question type, true/false questions, to broaden the range of question types available. It lives with the other question types and works in a manner that is very familiar.

Schedule and edit live sessions from Manage

To streamline management of live-sessions, users can now schedule live sessions from the content page in manage, and edit them directly from the session page. Only admins and group admins with access to edit the live session can schedule a new session through Manage

More consistent filtering

We streamlined filtering and sorting across Create, My Library, and Teamspace pages for a smoother, more accessible experience that works seamlessly on mobile devices.
