AI tutor

The most effective learning doesn't happen through courses—it happens through conversations. Our new AI tutor brings this natural approach to every Sana course, creating an adaptive experience that guides learners exactly when they need support. The AI tutor will be available across all courses, providing in-course assistance that helps learners ask questions, understand complex concepts, and connect ideas as they progress. You can set default behaviors for new courses and customize settings at the individual course level.

Updated language models

Enhanced GPT-4.1 models now power Insights search and generative filters, delivering better results with improved reasoning capabilities. Expect more accurate answers and smarter content suggestions across the platform.
New notifications for managers

Line managers now receive automated alerts when their direct reports have overdue content, expiring certificates, pending invitations, or failed assessments. This helps L&D teams leverage managers for learner activation and support, especially for compliance training and mandatory programs where staying on track matters. Configure notifications for email, Slack, or Teams in your organization settings.

Improved PDF content creator

We rebuilt our PDF content creator with a smarter ingestion engine. Text extraction is more accurate, image handling works more effectively, and our reasoning approach iterates across multiple loops to enhance module grouping and interactive card creation. Text-based sources remain the most effective, but images are now handled much more efficiently than before.
