Talabat builds an AI-first learning culture with Sana
We meet with Eman El Koshairy, Senior Manager of AI Enablement, at Talabat’s HQ to explore how her team used Sana to build an AI-first, decentralized learning culture that unlocks knowledge from every corner of the business. By tapping into Talabat’s collective wisdom, the lean L&D team is able to scale its impact and turn work that once took months into initiatives that come to life in weeks.

Eman El Koshairy Sana has enabled us to center our entire learning philosophy, to be AI first and to be decentralized.

E I'm Eman El Koshairy. I am a Senior Manager of Talent and Development at Talabat and I also lead our AI Enablement

E When I first came into the Talabat team, I was looking at what they were doing and a lot of it was in-person sessions, and manual – and they’re such a small team, so the scale and impact that the team was able to deliver was so limited.
00:30
E Also, there's so much knowledge within everyone at Talabat. Wouldn't it be amazing if you could actually, instead of asking the internet, feel like you can talk to everyone at Talabat and harness this collective wisdom that we have?
00:45
Nick Charinos How has Sana enabled Talabat to achieve the Learning and Development (L&D) strategy that you set out when you joined the business?
00:52
E I think first of all, we were able to really decentralize learning, right, and democratize it. What would have taken months, now takes weeks.

E What I found about Sana that was different – and I still see that it's very different – is first, the platform does not have this old legacy piece.
01:08
E But then also the partnership we've had with the Sana team – I don't think we've had this with any of our other platforms.
01:15
E We work very closely with the team, we engage in a lot of knowledge sharing on both ends. We learn how to use the features in ways we weren't thinking about.
01:23
E But we also give you a lot of insights about the pain points and problems we're trying to solve – I see features and I know, yeah, that was my feedback. This is something I talked about, and it's now there.
