We are seeking our first legal hire to play an integral part in our dynamic global operations team, to bring Sana to our next stage of growth. In this role, you will be at the front line, collaborating across the organization to ensure our legal function operates smoothly and efficiently as we scale. You will manage all things legal: workflows, agreements, contract reviews, and coordinate with external stakeholders as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional eager to build and shape a legal function in a fast-growing, innovative AI scaleup.

• Manage all legal workflows and agreements
• Negotiate and draft agreements, amendments, NDAs, and other legal documents
• Ensure compliance across both sales-led and product-led channels as we scale further into existing and new markets
• Support stakeholders by providing ad-hoc legal advice where needed
• Collaborate with various departments to address and resolve legal concerns
• Stay current with legal changes that might impact product development
• Identify ways to streamline legal processes using innovative technologies such as AI

• You have a bachelor's degree in Law or with a major in Law
• You have 3+ years of professional legal experience, some of which comes from working for a SaaS organization or tech scaleup
• You are familiar with international contracting processes and requirements
• You have expertise in data privacy and information security
• You have excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address complicated legal issues quickly and effectively
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills and can explain legal concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• You enjoy working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and sales teams
• You have a self-starter mindset, meaning you can proactively identify issues and opportunities and tackle them without being told to do so.
